Started up Xcode, and noticed the toolip flickering oddly. Didn’t want to disturb it, so filmed it with my camera. My hand is nowhere near the trackpad.
@_vade made a performance piece about Xcode. https://twitter.com/#!/_vade/status/165957069420236800
I like how Duplicate puts the new item in the most inconvenient place possible. Would be nice to have the new object be a sibling of the old.
cmd+right arrow is now "play error sound"
I usually press cmd+right or cmd+left to quickly make the cursor jump to the end or beginning of a line for fast editing…XCode has decided to replace this feature with “hey play that OS X default error sound real quick” feature. WTF!!!!

Silent but deadly
I like how later Xcodes default to armv7 so device testing with 3Gs etc fail. Especially fun to discover this before submitting an iOS5 app fix, otherwise we’d have shut all of our armv6 customers. And now to do a complete re-testing because the codegen is totally different now.
It’s nice to get a preview of the final frame of the animation while it’s happening.
Just command-D’ing to duplicate some labels, until they start scurrying and scrolling on their own accord. (only thing being done here is Cmd-D, and drag the label until it started moving on its own).
The EOL of the the Enter key
Trying to move a element in the layout editor, I entered a new value for X, then pressed the Enter key. Nothing happened.
So I pressed the Tab key - and I get this error msg:
